Calling all marshals.. at Brands Hatch this weekend..  12th September..

as there is no longer a "congregation point" for sign on, make sure you all go for 'breakfast', as I have agreed with MSVR that I will have a team member (aka my Mum) outside the Kentagon on Saturday morning (aiming for 8am, traffic allowing..) handing out a snack or two and she will be armed with several "Buster" B42's stickers for purchase if you would like to join in the prize draws.. 

there will be a draw on the day and you could win one of several prizes.  All B42's Marshals club members will be in the prize draw anyway but if you are there you could collect the prize that afternoon...   join in the fun now at www.dawnontrack.co.uk

We’d just like to wish everyone a very Happi Crimbo and a successful new year. 

Your support and enthusiasm for the B42’s team has been overwhelming and quite frankly unbelievable and we hope everyone that took part enjoyed the year. We’re very pleased to say that we will be doing it all again in 2020! As we already have the new “Pride Burst” stickers for the new prize draws on sale and we hope to organise more prizes and goodies to give away.

We start our 2020 by showing the car at Autosport on the @BMMCUK recruitment stand, the car will be gleaming throughout the show and some of the team should make an appearance at some point on the Sunday if you want to come say hello.

We look forward to the season opener at Oulton Park with the Teekay Production GTi Championship on 28th March.

So to all our supporters, Marhals, team groupies, helpers, racers, track clubs and organisers, everyone we say thank you, and we’ll see you in the next decade!! :) 

Unfortunately I couldn't race at Donington on medical grounds.. I woke up Saturday with pain in my leg... limping. it got worse... went to the medic at Donington Park who promptly sent me to A&E at Derby hospital!!!  My thanks to Andy who helped me all day, as well as getting the car set up ready to race just in case! 

I spent the rest of the day there being checked for a blood clot.. it was positive.. not good for racing, so Sunday morning we called in the Teams #2 driver...!!  Andy's son Jamie Butcher.. who I used to race alongside in the Mark2 golfs 10 years ago... he hadn't raced in those 10 years, but was still up for it.. we put him in the seat after a lot of running around by Robert Sadler the organiser to get permission and Jamie went out for a test run, but above all, to enjoy himself, with instructions not to get in the way of any championship battles but to have fun and test the car... so he was at the back but having some fun none the less.  I've been off work for 2 weeks recovering and hated it that I couldn't race but I will be back for Brands Hatch, with less of a limp!
