It's race week for Team B42's Motorsport 👍 we're heading North East this time to Snetterton.
Looking forward to seeing another bunch of the orange army and enjoying another weekend with the Production Gti guys.

A Different Marshal Car!
Safety Car Observer
A different kind of marshalling this time for Dawnontrack... Dawn was the Safety Car Observer at the recent BARC Brands Harch race meeting - really enjoyed it with driver Paul Hagen and we made a good team, didn't make any silly mistakes and got plenty of praise from the officials and the commentary team! :)

Hello Castle Combe
Marshal Giveaways
Some of the B42's Team went to Castle Combe over the Bank holiday and circumnavigated the whole circuit to hand out some goodies to the marshals.

The Fastest Circuit
I love Thruxton , its my 'home' circuit and its the fastest in the country, it never disappoints in providing some exciting racing.

Wow! Croft - what a welcome!

What a welcome! The enthusiasm from the Croft Marshals was awesome! ALL the goodies were snapped up, loads of marshals joined us for coffee and a look at the car, everyone was so appreciative of what I'm trying to achieve, which is to gain the recognition for the Marshals. So many thank you's and loads of prize draw tickets purchased. THANK YOU!

Excellent Racing
Croft was great fun. Its a long trek North to Yorkshire, but its well worth it! I like the circuit and the lap times showed it.. at one point in practise I was only 4 hundredths of a second off the top guys. see the race report to follow...

The B42's Team will be in Croft near Darlington this weekend for the 2nd round of the Production Gti Championship. Dawn showed great potential in the brand new car at Silverstone with two top-10 finishes in the mark 5 golf and gained some new support in the Orange Army Marshals.

Race 1 at Silverstone
16th April '19
Team B42's were at Silverstone for the first round of the Production Gti Championship on 7th April.
A very successful start as the car had only just been finished days before, one test and a rolling road and its qualifying time before we know it - I have added a race report and it will be published this week in the Andover Advertiser as well - thanks guys!

Silverstone Launch for Marshal Support Car

My Thanks to the BMMC for their ongoing support and promotion of my project - they have announced my races this weekend at Silverstone with a promotion page and a direct email to all the Silverstone area marshals to promote the Peekaboo Stickers and remind them of their free gifts available at sign on and coffee/tea at my paddock garage.. just look for the orange wind sock and chequered flag in the paddock.

Nearly there... 2nd April '19
Finally, after several late nights and early mornings, on top of working 8-5.30..., and me providing lots of coffee... "Seve" the Golf, prepared by Andy Butcher and the B42's Motorsport race team, is ready for race day. I want to publicly say how proud I am of the hard work that has been put in for us to race and I look forward to doing the team proud on track.
We begin on Sunday 7th April at Silverstone (National Circuit) and I look forward to seeing some of you there to support us.
